About My Stylish Event

My Stylish Event (MSE), based in Southern Maryland (near Washington, D.C.) is a full service event planning company that helps you create an event that represents who you are. MSE’s goal is to provide creative solutions and create an experience for our busy clients that allow them to focus on celebrating. Guidance and support is key to our client experience. Our client's satisfaction is very important to us. To achieve this goal our client's receive our time and attention by being patient, open, and understanding.

Ebony, Owner/Planner

I am a wife and mother of a 16 year old girl that's addicted to anime. She tries to talk to me about it but I cannot keep up. My five-year old is a lovable little boy on the autism spectrum who keeps me very busy and on my toes. I am a true introvert but I love to connect with people. Doing so with food is even better! All of my favorite things to do include food. Spending time with my family, eating Maryland blue crabs, and going to a nice restaurant all alone that I have never been to. Crabs and a nice restaurant both must end with dessert, ice cream to be exact!


I was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in the Southern Maryland area. To this day, I love living in Maryland. I obtained a degree in fashion design from the Art Institute of Philadelphia. After graduation, I started in the bridal gown industry where my love for event planning was realized, wanting to be a part of the full process. After receiving my Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, I thought I was going into the hotel industry but quickly realized the desire to focus on supporting my clients instead of a sales goal. Now I am helping my clients celebrate life's biggest milestones and guiding my couples down the aisle, I am filled with so much joy.

She was proactive in sending me ideas to see what I like. Her pricing was very reasonable in my opinion. She was never pushy in promoting products or ideas. She handled all the décor and logistics at the party which allowed me to just enjoy the party knowing everything was handled. It was a pleasure working with Ebony and I would most certainly hire her company again for my next event.
